Value proposition

noun

A clear statement of what a customer gets from you, why it matters to them and why you are the one to deliver it.

Why it matters

If a visitor cannot tell what you offer in a few seconds, they leave.

An example

"Same-week home cleaning in Boca Raton, with a photo checklist after every visit" says what, where and why you in one line.

The short read

A value proposition is written for the customer, not for you. Use their words.

It should be specific: who it is for, the result, and the proof or reason to believe.

Put it where people decide: your homepage headline, your profile bio, your ads.
